Terms of Service

1. Agreement and operator

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and the person or entity operating the CyberNet AI brand and the CyberNet website, applications, tools, and services (“CyberNet”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). You may contact the operator at [email protected].

By accessing CyberNet, creating an account, submitting content for analysis, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Refund and Cancellation Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms for you. Paid subscriptions may only be purchased by a person with legal capacity to enter a contract or with permission from the payment method holder.

You must provide accurate account information, keep your password confidential, use multi-factor authentication when available, and promptly notify CyberNet if you suspect unauthorised account access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.

3. CyberNet Services

CyberNet provides defensive cybersecurity education, automated risk assessment, and decision-support tools. Depending on your plan and current product availability, the Services may include:

• CyberNet Protect rule-based analysis of suspicious text, links, images, screenshots, QR codes, email headers, and investigation notes.
• CyberNet AI analysis, risk explanations, indicators, suggested next steps, and downloadable or saved reports.
• GhostScan isolated-browser analysis of submitted links, redirects, page behaviour, forms, downloads, permissions, screenshots, and related signals.
• Cybersecurity learning content, account tools, usage limits, billing controls, scan history, and support features.

Features, models, providers, usage allowances, response times, and supported content may change as CyberNet improves, responds to security threats, or complies with law and provider requirements.

4. Cybersecurity and AI limitations

CyberNet uses automated rules, third-party data, artificial intelligence, and incomplete information supplied by users. Results may be inaccurate, delayed, incomplete, outdated, misleading, or affected by missing context. CyberNet may produce false positives, false negatives, incorrect classifications, unsupported inferences, or inconsistent results.

CyberNet is not antivirus software, endpoint protection, identity theft insurance, a managed security service, a bank, law firm, law-enforcement agency, or emergency response service. It does not continuously monitor your devices, accounts, inboxes, networks, transactions, or third-party systems unless a feature expressly states otherwise.

You must not rely solely on CyberNet when making security, financial, legal, medical, employment, account-access, or personal-data decisions. Independently verify suspicious requests through a trusted channel. When money, credentials, sensitive data, or account access may be at risk, contact the relevant bank, platform, organisation, local authority, or qualified cybersecurity professional.

5. No guarantee against hacking, scams, or loss

CyberNet cannot guarantee that you will avoid phishing, fraud, malware, hacking, identity theft, data loss, account compromise, unauthorised access, financial loss, reputational harm, or other cyber incidents. Threat actors may change behaviour, conceal evidence, exploit unknown vulnerabilities, or use content that automated systems cannot reliably assess.

You remain responsible for security controls including strong unique passwords, multi-factor authentication, software updates, backups, device protection, access controls, independent verification, and immediate incident response. CyberNet’s output is one input into your decision, not a substitute for reasonable care.

6. Submitted content and permissions

You may submit text, links, screenshots, QR codes, images, email headers, notes, and other evidence (“Submitted Content”) for analysis. You confirm that you have the right and lawful authority to submit it and that doing so does not violate privacy, confidentiality, intellectual-property, employment, contractual, or other rights.

Do not submit passwords, one-time codes, full payment-card numbers, private keys, government identifiers, medical records, intimate content, trade secrets, or other highly sensitive data unless strictly necessary and legally permitted. Redact unnecessary personal information before submission.

You grant CyberNet a limited licence to process, transmit, transform, and display Submitted Content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Services, enforce these Terms, and comply with law, subject to the Privacy Policy.

7. Defensive and lawful use only

CyberNet is intended for defensive, educational, and authorised security purposes. You must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy. You may not use CyberNet to attack systems, steal credentials, distribute malware, bypass security, conceal criminal activity, harass others, test targets without permission, or violate applicable law.

CyberNet may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts, block submissions, preserve evidence, or report activity when reasonably necessary to protect users, the Services, third parties, or legal rights.

8. Free and Pro plans

CyberNet may offer free and paid plans with different limits and features. Current advertised allowances include 5 AI analyses per day for Free accounts and 50 AI analyses per day for Pro accounts, subject to technical safeguards, fair-use controls, and future plan changes. Free accounts may not include saved AI history, downloadable reports, or GhostScan.

Usage limits may apply collectively across text, link, image, and other analyses. Failed, abusive, repeated, automated, or unusually large requests may count toward limits or be blocked. CyberNet may change limits with reasonable notice where practical.

9. Subscription prices and automatic renewal

CyberNet AI Pro is offered, unless the checkout page states otherwise, at USD $9.99 per month or USD $95.90 per year. Prices, discounts, taxes, and included features are displayed before purchase and may vary by location or promotion.

Before payment, CyberNet will display the selected price, billing interval, renewal terms, and links to these Terms and the Refund and Cancellation Policy. You are responsible for reviewing that information before confirming payment.

10. Payments, taxes, and failed charges

Payments are processed by Stripe or another clearly identified payment provider. CyberNet does not directly store complete payment-card details. Payment providers may apply their own terms, authentication checks, fraud controls, currency conversion, and privacy practices.

You are responsible for applicable taxes, bank fees, foreign-exchange charges, and payment-method fees unless the checkout page states they are included. If payment fails, is reversed, disputed, or remains unpaid, CyberNet may retry the charge, restrict Pro features, suspend the subscription, or return the account to the Free plan.

11. Cancellation

You may cancel through Account → Manage Billing or by contacting [email protected] when self-service cancellation is unavailable. Unless the billing portal or applicable law states otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period and Pro access continues until that date.

Deleting the CyberNet account does not necessarily cancel an active Stripe subscription. Cancel the subscription through Manage Billing before requesting account deletion. CyberNet will not charge a new renewal after a properly completed cancellation, except for charges already authorised or legally due.

12. Refunds and billing disputes

Fees are generally non-refundable after a billing period begins, and partial or prorated refunds are not normally provided, except for duplicate charges, confirmed billing errors, failure to provide the purchased service for a material period, refunds approved by CyberNet, or refunds required by applicable law.

Review the full Refund and Cancellation Policy. Contact support promptly with the account email, charge date, amount, and reason. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights or lawful rights to dispute unauthorised transactions.

13. Saved reports, history, and retention

Saved reports and scan history may be stored in your browser, CyberNet’s database, or both, depending on the feature and plan. Browser-stored reports may be lost if you clear site data, change browsers, use private mode, or lose the device. CyberNet does not guarantee permanent retention or recovery.

When Pro ends, history may become unavailable, be retained for a limited period, or be deleted according to the Privacy Policy and technical configuration. Download important reports before cancelling or deleting your account. Reports are informational and are not certified forensic, legal, compliance, or evidentiary reports.

14. Third-party services and links

CyberNet depends on third parties such as Stripe, Supabase, Netlify, OpenAI, browser-isolation providers, domain or reputation services, hosting providers, and internet infrastructure. Third-party outages, policy changes, errors, security incidents, or service limits may affect CyberNet.

CyberNet may display or analyse external links but does not control or endorse third-party websites. Opening any link, following a recommended action, or communicating with a third party is at your own risk. Verify the destination independently.

15. Availability, maintenance, and changes

The Services are provided on an on-demand and “as available” basis. CyberNet may be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, attacks, provider outages, capacity limits, legal restrictions, or events outside reasonable control. CyberNet may add, remove, pause, or modify features, models, plans, limits, or integrations.

CyberNet does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, a particular response time, permanent compatibility, or preservation of every feature. Where practical, material subscription changes will be communicated before they take effect.

16. Intellectual property

CyberNet’s name, logos, interface, source code, designs, documentation, educational content, report formats, and original materials are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Services under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

You may download reports for your own lawful use. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, scrape, remove notices from, or create a competing service from CyberNet except where applicable law expressly permits it.

17. Suspension and termination

CyberNet may suspend, limit, or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, create security or legal risk, misuse the Services, interfere with operations, or expose CyberNet or others to harm. Where appropriate, CyberNet may give notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.

You may stop using CyberNet at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, liability limitations, and dispute terms—will continue to apply.

18. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CyberNet is provided “as is” and “as available” without express, implied, or statutory warranties, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, security, or freedom from harmful components.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

19. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CyberNet and its operator, suppliers, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of money, profits, revenue, data, access, accounts, reputation, business opportunities, devices, or goodwill arising from or connected with:

• use of, inability to use, or reliance on CyberNet;
• incorrect, incomplete, delayed, or misleading analysis;
• false positives, false negatives, hacking, scams, phishing, malware, identity theft, data loss, or unauthorised access;
• user actions, third-party services, external websites, payment disputes, or Submitted Content; or
• service interruption, deletion, corruption, disclosure, or loss of data.

Where liability cannot be fully excluded, CyberNet’s aggregate liability arising from the Services will, to the maximum extent permitted by law, not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid CyberNet during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or (b) USD $100.

These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or other mandatory legal obligations.

20. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CyberNet and its operator from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from your unlawful or unauthorised use, Submitted Content, infringement of third-party rights, breach of these Terms, or misuse of analysis results.

21. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights that apply in your country of residence. Subject to any mandatory dispute forum or consumer right, disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates.

Before filing a formal claim, contact [email protected] and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally. This does not prevent either party from seeking urgent protective relief.

22. General terms

If a provision is unenforceable, it will be modified or removed only to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights or account without permission; CyberNet may transfer these Terms as part of a restructuring, financing, acquisition, or sale of the Services.

These Terms and the policies incorporated by reference are the entire agreement about the Services. Headings are for convenience. The English version controls unless applicable law requires otherwise.

23. Changes to these Terms

CyberNet may update these Terms to reflect product changes, laws, security requirements, pricing, or business operations. The effective date and version will be updated. Material changes may be communicated through the website, account, or email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law; when required, CyberNet will request renewed consent.
