1. Purpose
CyberNet is a defensive cybersecurity and education platform. This Acceptable Use Policy protects users, third parties, infrastructure, and the public. It applies to all accounts, submissions, API-key use, Protect analyses, AI analyses, GhostScan requests, reports, and interactions with CyberNet.
2. Authorised defensive use
You may use CyberNet to analyse content you own, received, are responsible for protecting, or are expressly authorised to test. You may use it for personal safety, education, incident triage, internal security, or legitimate research performed lawfully and with appropriate permission.
3. Prohibited conduct
You may not use CyberNet to:
- access, scan, test, monitor, exploit, or interfere with systems, accounts, devices, networks, websites, or data without authorisation;
- create, improve, distribute, conceal, or deploy malware, ransomware, credential stealers, phishing kits, botnets, exploits, destructive code, or harmful payloads;
- steal credentials, payment data, personal information, private keys, authentication tokens, or confidential information;
- bypass authentication, rate limits, paywalls, security controls, content filters, abuse systems, or provider restrictions;
- facilitate fraud, impersonation, extortion, harassment, stalking, doxxing, identity theft, money laundering, or unauthorised surveillance;
- upload illegal, abusive, intimate, exploitative, or infringing content, including child sexual abuse material;
- submit third-party personal or confidential data without a lawful basis and appropriate permission;
- generate false reports, fabricate evidence, misrepresent CyberNet results, or use outputs to accuse or harm another person without reliable evidence;
- overload, scrape, reverse engineer, disrupt, probe, or attack CyberNet or its providers;
- resell, sublicense, automate, or commercially exploit CyberNet without written permission; or
- use CyberNet in a way that violates law, sanctions, export controls, court orders, or third-party rights.
4. GhostScan restrictions
Only submit URLs or screenshots you are legally permitted to investigate. GhostScan must not be used to crawl targets at scale, evade access controls, interact with accounts, submit forms, purchase goods, download unlawful material, or test private systems without permission. CyberNet may block internal, private, local, sensitive, or high-risk destinations.
5. Submitted Content standards
Redact unnecessary personal data. Do not submit passwords, one-time codes, full card numbers, private keys, medical records, government identifiers, intimate content, or trade secrets unless legally authorised and strictly necessary. You remain responsible for the legality, accuracy, and handling of Submitted Content.
6. API keys and third-party accounts
If CyberNet allows you to connect a third-party API key, you must own or be authorised to use it, comply with the provider’s terms, protect it from disclosure, and pay any provider charges. Do not use stolen, shared, leaked, educational, trial, or restricted keys in violation of provider rules.
7. Automation and fair use
Do not use bots, scripts, multiple accounts, credential sharing, or technical workarounds to avoid limits or generate excessive traffic. CyberNet may apply rate limits, file-size limits, concurrency limits, automated abuse controls, or temporary restrictions to protect service quality and security.
8. Enforcement
CyberNet may warn, block content, limit features, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve relevant records, reverse benefits obtained through abuse, and cooperate with providers or lawful authorities. CyberNet may act without advance notice when necessary to prevent harm, preserve evidence, comply with law, or protect infrastructure.
9. Reporting abuse
Report suspected abuse to [email protected]. Include relevant URLs, timestamps, screenshots, and account details, but do not send passwords, one-time codes, private keys, or full payment-card numbers.
10. Changes
CyberNet may update this Policy as threats, laws, providers, and product features change. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
